That is so unlike me.)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a good pattern; the socks fit great, and I really quite like the fabric that DiC Smooshy makes.\u00a0 I&#8217;m glad I have a hojillion skeins of that stuff left in my stash. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The neat thing about this pattern is how the design kind of slides right off the foot:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Popsicle Socks by Pynnski, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pynnski\/3375475135\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3420\/3375475135_fcc31d2783.jpg\" alt=\"Popsicle Socks\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m actually pretty close to finishing my Hearts Afire socks, less than one repeat and a toe to go.\u00a0 What is this, finishing season for me? \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSC02471 by Pynnski, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pynnski\/3367442262\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"float: left;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3461\/3367442262_8e7f22b078_m.jpg\" alt=\"DSC02471\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a>But, seriously, that pink sock is getting pretty close to being done.\u00a0 I hope to get it mostly done tonight, while watching my Monday night television (Big Bang Theory, anyone?).\u00a0 I also finished one of Abby&#8217;s Monkey socks, but I haven&#8217;t started the second one yet &#8211; once I finish the Heart&#8217;s Afire socks I will cast on the second Monkey.\u00a0 Doesn&#8217;t that yarn knit up nice in the Monkey pattern, though?\u00a0 I think it&#8217;s Perchance to Knit in Navy Rainbow or something. The pink is Araucania Ranco Multy, which I REALLY like.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I should really do a new sock yarn review thing, since the old one was on the old blog.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, so that is what I am currently working on.\u00a0 Up next, besides socks, I am going to break out the Malabrigo Sock Yarn and work on some fingerless mitts for a Texas friend.\u00a0 It should be pretty awesome.
