We even had a tornado warning Friday morning. So it&#39;s been pretty rainy and not sunshiney. Happy Spring, yeah?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I finished the Bellingrath shawl and blocked it last night. I&#39;m curious as to how it will &quot;fit&quot; since the sides of the shawl don&#39;t come to a point, they have that edge &#8211; so it&#39;s not a triangle, it&#39;s more of a, well, Superman logo shape.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, so that&#39;s done for the most part.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next up is the Eiki Shawl, pattern by Janel Laidman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/melissaruth.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSC03937.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-936\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/melissaruth.com\/blog\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSC03937.jpg\" title=\"DSC03937\" width=\"450\" srcset=\"http:\/\/melissaruth.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSC03937.jpg 450w, http:\/\/melissaruth.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSC03937-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From now until the end of April, all pattern proceeds go to fund Japan disaster relief. How could I NOT buy the pattern?! It really amazes me the way the online crafting community comes together to help people in need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#39;m knitting the shawl out of Bugga! I got at Stitches last month in the Lubber Grasshopper colorway, which is a dark red with flecks of purple, super pretty and SO soft, I don&#39;t even.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The rain&#39;s at it again, just bracing myself for the tell-tale thump of a palm tree branch hitting my roof.
