Pantry & Freezer Staples

Make sure your pantry is fully stocked with long-term dry goods, etc. – this will save you money over the long term and also save your bacon later if you need to whip something up out of nothing (i.e. you ran out of fresh groceries or didn’t have time to go yet).

PANTRY STAPLES

Whole30 Compliant

  • olive oil (both extra virgin and light tasting)
  • other oils of your choice (e.g. avocado, etc.)
  • Various vinegars such as red wine, apple cider, and balsamic
  • Canned diced tomatoes
  • Canned tomato sauce & paste (check labels)
  • diced green chiles (the little cans)
  • Nutritional yeast
  • almond flour
  • potato starch or arrow root powder (for a thickener)
  • raw cashews (for sauces)

Grains (for when you’re not doing a Whole30)

  • Rice
  • Quinoa

FREEZER STAPLES

  • Frozen chicken breasts or thighs
  • Compliant turkey burgers or similar
  • Other frozen meat such as pork loin or shoulder
