Oh, it’s been quite a week! I was all set to get caught up on Reverb 10, when I got home from work on Tuesday and my internet was inexplicably down. A few phone calls, tech support, and today’s technician visit, and we’re finally repaired. Four days later. I’m actually lucky they were able to come on a Saturday morning and didn’t have to miss work.
It’s amazing the things I planned to do, how they are affected by not being able to use my primary computer. So annoying! My laptop is of the wee variety and doesn’t have Photoshop or Picasa installed, so it was a rather awkward combo all week. Luckily everything seems to be sorted out now, and things had gone wrong on the AT&T end, so I don’t have to pay any money. As it should be.
And dudes, it is so much easier to type on a regular size keyboard!
Anyway, I just wanted to share this pair of earrings I made that I’m inexplicably pleased with:
Earring hooks from Michael’s, red Czech glass from U Bead It (I think), and the gold leaf bits from JoAnn’s! Very inexpensive, probably all told they only cost about $5 to make.
Yesterday’s Michael’s challenge was so fun to participate in! I’m looking forward to tonight when I get back from the Rockettes (!) to comment on the other blogs – it’s interesting to see how using the same ingredients definitely does not result in the same final product. Every single necklace that everyone made was completely different from every one else’s and I find that fantastic.
