I knit a hat! It’s been awhile since I knit one, and I’m still trying to finish my sweater that is so.close. to being done (have to finish one sleeve! ugh) so this was a nice break from that slog.
Meet Dirk. This is the Shilling hat pattern I found on Ravelry. I was looking for a textured man hat with cables. This has garter stitches and cables, right up my alley. Paired with an old skein of Dream in Color Classy (I believe the colorway is November Muse. Not sure if they make it anymore, but it’s gorgeous!) it makes a great man hat.
I knit this for my dad’s 70th birthday. It blocked out really nicely. So named “Dirk” because I knit the bulk of it while watching 2 episodes of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
